Doctrine & Statement of Faith

At Infinite Grace Ministries, the sole basis of our beliefs is the Bible, God’s written Word. We believe that it is uniquely, verbally and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and is written without error in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters pertaining to the human life experience.

  1. There is only one true God, eternally existing in three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  2. God the Father, Creator of heaven and earth, is the functional head of the Trinity. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit agreed to obtain satisfaction for divine justice and to proclaim reconciliation through the death and resurrection of Jesus, the Son. The Holy Spirit came when Lord Jesus ascended the throne of the universe. He came to teach truth about Jesus to all humankind.
  3. Jesus is God: the Living Word Who became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth. He lived a sinless life and voluntarily atoned for the sins of humanity by dying on the cross as our substitute, thus satisfying divine justice and accomplishing salvation for all who trust in Him alone. He rose from the dead in the same body, though glorified, in which He lived and died. He ascended physically, bodily into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God, the Father.
  4. The Holy Spirit, the third Person in the Trinity, has come into the world to reveal and glorify Christ and to apply the saving work of Christ to humankind. He convicts and draws sinners to Christ and through their decision, imparts new life to them until the time of redemption is complete. He is the source and power of all acceptable worship and service, the infallible interpreter of the infallible Word, and seeks to occupy us with Christ, rather than with ourselves or our experiences.
  5. Humankind was originally created in the image of God. When the first man and woman sinned by disobeying God, that historic fall brought all humankind under divine condemnation. Since we are unable to save ourselves, we are in need of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit. We cannot enter the Kingdom of God until we are born anew by the Spirit.
  6. The salvation of man is wholly a work of God’s free grace and is not the work, in whole or in part, of human works, effort, goodness or religious ceremony. Jesus Christ became the sinner’s substitute before God and died as a propitiating sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. It is the privilege of all who are born again of the Spirit to be assured of their salvation from the very moment in which they trust Christ as Savior and Lord. Every believer is called to live in the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
  7. Jesus Christ is Head of the church, His Body. This Body is composed of all people, living and dead, who are joined to Him through saving faith. Each believer is baptized into the Body of Christ by the Holy Spirit.
  8. At physical death, the believer enters immediately into eternal, conscious fellowship with the Lord and awaits the resurrection of his body to everlasting glory and blessing. At physical death, the unbeliever enters immediately into eternal, conscious separation from the Lord and awaits the resurrection of his body to everlasting judgment and condemnation.
  9. The Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and to disciple people of every nation.
  10. Satan is an angelic being, the author of sin and cause of humanity’s downfall. He is the open and declared enemy of God and humankind, and shall be eternally punished in the lake of fire. His work today is to thwart the plan of God, create confusion among Christians, blind the unbelieving to the love of God and to deceive the world.

At Infinite Grace Ministries, we accept these large areas of doctrinal teaching on which there has historically been general agreement among all true followers of Christ.

Because of the specialized calling of the Biblical Personal Guidance and teaching ministries of Infinite Grace, we desire to allow for freedom of thought and growth through the Holy Spirit on other doctrinal matters, provided that any interpretation is based upon the Bible and wisdom from the Holy Spirit.

We desire that no personal interpretation shall become an issue that would hinder the ministry of reconciliation to which God has called us.
